5th grade pinch pots

I wanted to post pictures of this fun project my 5th graders are doing.  They created pinch pots and added broken stained glass to the insides when they glazed them.  The results are BEAUTIFUL!  I borrowed some forceps from a classroom teacher that would be used in science class and they pick up the small pieces and lay them inside the pots.  The glass melts into the bottom and fuses with the glaze and the pot.  This is the kind of project that doesn't just make me smile and proud of my students but it re-energizes my creative juices!
