Irises in Kindergarten

This little lesson was a throw together the day before we come back,  (because we were making up a snow day) and this day was actually the same group of kids that I saw on the Thursday before we left for break.  Since I did not want to let this group get to far ahead of the rest of the grade level I had to come up with a fun, one day lesson.  I came across a lesson about folding paper with purple and yellow paint to create irises.  I was in love!  The kindergartners loved this lesson!  I snapped a few pictures and I hope they inspire someone else.
